Bat Boy's friends have been brainwashed by interdimensional mage Lord Vicious to take part in the Trials of Darkness, a horrific series of sporting contests! Bat Boy must work with the obnoxious crow Garou while navigating a difficult environment to liberate the brains of his sports-hero colleagues before they succumb to the trials. As he battles his way to the final confrontation with Lord Vicious, Bat Boy will come into contact with a variety of characters, some of whom will be his allies and most of whom will not.
As he journeys across the various planets beyond Lord Vicious' temporal gateway, Bat Boy challenges the titular hero against the former teammates of his sports team with heroes like Racket Girl, Shinai Guy, Aquaria, and Mr. Blitzer, among others!
