Three Kingdom: The Journey is a strategy card battler with roguelike aspects such as deck-building and path-building. In a fast-paced strategic experience that will put your tactical thinking to the test, collect new cards, customize your army, take over regions, and defend your position. The Han Dynasty is facing an armed insurrection, and the situation is terrible. The Kingdom is on the edge of collapse, and you're the only one willing to command the army in its final desperate stand. You must be prepared for combat, because any who waver will lose to the troops of the Yellow Turbans and their astute generals.
As you progress through the map, adjust your approach to succeed against different types of attackers and free the towns. Sometimes you'll find assistance along the way, but never let your guard down, for treachery can be the undoing of the unwary, and you never know who will be loyal and who will betray you when the cards are down... Select a side, its commander, and your equipment, and prepare to save the Kingdom - or perish trying.
