Join the fight for the fate of one of the medieval world's most vibrant histories. The modern-day countries of Spain and Portugal were formerly the grand prize in a king's game. The new Struggle mechanism in Crusader Kings III: Fate of Iberia allows players to take part in this historical struggle. As contending forces in Iberia struggle to unite the peninsula under one ruler and one faith over the centuries, your characters will have to alter their methods and devise new lines of attack. If you choose more peaceful measures, you can reach an agreement that keeps the rich territories calm but divides them among smaller rulers. How big is your dream?

Crusader Kings III gameplay
You will lead your noble house through the ages. Your journey starts in 867 or 1066 and ends hundreds of years later – in 1453. Building alliances, gaining vassals' loyalty and preparing worthy heirs who can inherit the ruler's primary title are only a few keys to creating a long-lasting dynasty and building your legacy. Crusader Kings III gameplay allows you to try different strategies – you can become a bloody warlord or achieve your goals by using brilliant diplomatic skills. Moreover, your character's decisions and life choices can have far-reaching consequences. You never know when your murdered rival's concubine will try to take revenge.
