Return to reality
After suffering from trauma caused by the horrific death of her family, Alice spent ten years in the Rutledge Asylum, where she tried to escape her demons in Wonderland. Now, after being released from the asylum, she tries to return to the real world. However, with her memories and visions flooding back, she yet again seeks a safe haven in the fantasy world. Alice returns to Wonderland, however, the place is not the same as she remembers it, and something evil is looming upon it.
Explore the shattered Wonderland
Travel through the dark and unfamiliar Wonderland. Meet all of the strange Alice: Madness Returns characters, such as Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter, the Caterpillar, and the Red Queen. However, not all of them will be friendly. Defend yourself using a wide variety of upgradable weapons, including the explosive Teapot Cannon, the punishing Hobby Horse, and the classic Vorpal Blade.
Magical world
During her adventure to save Wonderland (and herself), Alice will gain magical powers. Use Alice’s dress to float, escape from dangers by shrinking, or defeat enemies by growing to enormous sizes. Alice: Madness Returns gameplay will also require you to solve various challenging yet rewarding puzzles with different mechanics, from musical ones to chess and picture blocks.
