Download and Install:

Before activating, ensure you have downloaded and installed the Autodesk software you intend to use from https://manage.autodesk.com/home
You can find downloads for Autodesk products in your Autodesk Account or the product's official page.

Launch the Software:

Choose “Enter a Serial Number”:

Upon launching for the first time, you'll typically be presented with multiple licensing options. Choose "Enter a Serial Number" (or similar).
Note: Some trials or educational versions may not initially present this option, but it should appear once the trial period ends or if you choose to activate a full license.

Agree to the License and Services Agreement:

Enter Your Information:

Input your Serial Number and Product Key. You should have received these when you purchased the software or via email if you bought it online.
Serial numbers are usually 6-12 digits, and product keys are about 5 alphanumeric characters.

Follow the Activation Prompts:

The software might require internet access to verify the license. Follow any on-screen prompts.

Autodesk Account:

It might be beneficial to sign in with your Autodesk Account, especially if you're using a subscription model. This can help with license management and accessing cloud services.

Complete the Activation:

Once the software confirms your Serial Number and Product Key, the activation process is complete, and you should be able to use the software without restrictions.

If you encounter issues, ensure you've entered the Serial Number and Product Key correctly without any spaces.
Ensure your software version matches the version that the serial number and product key are intended for.
Your firewall or antivirus software might interfere with the activation process. Consider temporarily disabling them if you face issues.
Make sure you have an active internet connection during the activation process.
If problems persist, reach out to Autodesk's customer support for assistance.

Always keep your Serial Number and Product Key confidential and only use them on your installations to protect your software licenses.
