Valiant Hearts: The Great War is a unique action-adventure/platform game created by Ubisoft Montpellier. The game’s events take place during World War I. You’ll follow the lives of four characters, which fate links them in the trenches of the Western Front. Each of them presents a different story, but they all got highly affected by the ongoing war.
Everybody has their story
The storyline of Valiant Hearts: The Great War presents the background of four soldiers: a French farmer forced to serve in the army, an American volunteer seeking private revenge, a Belgian nurse trying to find her missing father, and a German soldier, who was separated from his family. Each one of them has their own point of view on the war.
Man’s best friend
What connects all these characters is a dog, a truly true good boy who wields an unexplainable power of leading people’s lives back on the right track. Soon, each of the soldiers begins to dream that the war nightmare will come to an end. It’s worth mentioning that the plot was strongly inspired by authentic soldiers’ letters from World War I.
