Game overview
Cheap Car Repair is a first-person simulation game set in 1990s Poland. Players run a small car repair shop, taking on jobs ranging from basic maintenance to complex mechanical work while managing costs, quality, and customer relations.
Gameplay
Repair jobs cover a range of tasks performed directly in the workshop:
- Patching bodywork, filling dents, painting panels, cleaning, and removing rust
- Replacing broken parts with either proper components or cheaper substitutes
- Disassembling and reassembling vehicles, including removing wheels and jacking up cars
- Handling jobs from simple oil changes to full engine repairs
Running the shop involves ongoing decisions beyond the repairs themselves:
- Balancing part costs against service quality and profit margin
- Choosing between legitimate methods and cut-price shortcuts, each with potential consequences
- Managing customer expectations — dissatisfied customers have tangible effects on the business
Outside the workshop, story-driven missions let players explore the surrounding countryside and interact with the local cast of characters.
