Edition overview
The Deluxe Edition is an expansion for Diablo IV that provides access to the Lord of Hatred campaign alongside a set of in-game cosmetics and account items. It includes the full Vessel of Hatred expansion. The Diablo IV base game is required to play.

Expansion content
Lord of Hatred continues the Diablo IV story after the events of Vessel of Hatred. The expansion adds:
- A new campaign set in Skovos, a previously unexplored region of Sanctuary.
- Two new playable classes: the Paladin and the Warlock.
- Reworked skill trees for all eight classes, including new skill variants and a raised level cap (60 to 70).
- New crafting systems, including the Horadric Cube and a Talisman item slot that supports set bonuses.
- A Loot Filter for item management.
- New endgame activities including War Plans and Echoing Hatred.
Important notes
- Diablo IV base game required.
- Internet connection and a Battle.net account required to play.
- If Vessel of Hatred is already owned, it will not be granted again.
- Upgrading editions will not re-grant in-game items already unlocked on your account.
- World of Warcraft Decor Items require a World of Warcraft subscription or game time, sold separately. May require purchase of World of Warcraft: Midnight in some regions.
- The Infernal Apostle Warlock Cosmetic Bundle becomes available on April 28, 2026.
