The Tales series

This franchise of fantasy role-playing video games by Bandai Namco Entertainment began in 1995 and currently, there are 17 main titles and multiple spin-offs of the game. Moreover, there are manga and anime series inspired by the franchise. The main themes in the Tales series are the current world issues,  coexistence between different races, and justice and faith all set in a fantasy world. 

Tales of Arise is the seventeenth main title of the series. This time, the player follows a story of two races from different worlds, the Renan and Dahnan people. Overcome the hardships and determine the fate of both worlds. Immerse yourself in this fantastically animated game. 

The divided worlds

The Rena people have been plundering Dahnan from its valuable resources for hundreds of years. Two protagonists from the opposing worlds, Alphen and Shionne, want to put an end to the oppression of the Dahnam people. Join them on their journey to growth and overcoming hardships through friendship and shared goals.

Inspired by anime and watercolor paintings, the new graphics shader takes you on a beautiful journey full of delicate animated three-dimensional visuals.
