Blue Reflection, developed by Gust, was first published in 2017 by Koei Tecmo, best known for their signature Warriors series, Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive. The game follows Hinako, a ballet dancer, who visits another world where she battles against monsters. Not only was this role-playing video game well-received by players, but also lived to see an anime spin-off series that aired in April 2021! As the last summer day fades, all is illuminated
Ao Hoshizaki, Kokoro Utsuba, and Yuki Kinjou are the three students who found themselves in a completely new and mysterious floating academy, away from their home and without any memories other than their names. They start the adventure, searching for clues and trying to find a way back home. When a mysterious path appears, leading the girls to a new land, Ao, Kokoro, and Yuki try to explore it. However, they are confronted by deadly monsters baring their way. Battling against the creatures, the protagonists discover that they unlock new powers, which only deepen the mysteriousness of the world they’ve found themselves in.
The adventure and the everyday struggle bring three friends closer together, revealing their feelings and showing their individual personalities. Their new, strong bond will enable them to become stronger and gain new abilities.
Exhilarating real-time battles!
The improved real-time battles allow you to speed up the pace of the battles, depending on the elapsed time and used skills. The Ether Points (EP), essential for launching skills, recover faster throughout the battle the more the creatures are hit by these skills. Gaining a certain number of points enables you to switch up your gear, allowing you to launch multiple skills at once.
You can also use skills for changing up combos that will accelerate the speed of the combat and maximize the damage made to the enemy, making the gameplay increasingly more exciting!

Bond with Ao, Kokoro, and Yuki, listen to their needs and requests, send them on dates, and communicate with them in various different ways. This will enable you to develop their skills and obtain new items.
Blue Reflection: Second Light allows you to create your own academy with “School Development” feature. You can create and build useful facilities, such as a “Takoyaki Stand” or a “Pool.” By building objects that the girls came up with and which they like, you can create your own version of the school, so get creative and use your imagination!
