RockSteady Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have teamed up to create Batman: Arkham City, the second installment in the franchise following the critically acclaimed Batman: Arkham Asylum. This new game follows the events of Arkham Asylum, which was decided to have a part of Gotham serve as a prison to keep the other districts safe. The game starts with an intriguing scene where Bruce Wayne is declaring the dangers of Arkham City at a press conference. TYGER mercenaries interrupt the conference and kidnap Bruce, imprisoning him in none other than Arkham City itself. You assume the role of our hero and, once you wake up, realize you are imprisoned in the slums of Gotham city—however, there is no time to be confused! You must discover why this action was taken against you and investigate Hugo Strange, a mysterious warden in charge of the infamous Arkham City. Batman: Arkham City (Game of the Year Edition) is a third-person perspective game with exploration elements and stealth mechanics, played from the perspective of Batman. It is an open world game with five times larger maps than those in Batman: Arkham Asylum and can be explored freely by players. The game features various side quests for players to complete.
