Takumi Nishijo, a sophomore in high school, is on the edge of living alone. He is not interested in the real world. Takumi trying to live his life quietly in his room, surrounded by his lovely girl figurines. He resides in Shibuya, the scene of a weird string of serial killings dubbed as "New Generation Madness" (aka NewGen). The perpetrator, who has been stirring up trouble on the internet and television, has not yet been identified. One day, a mysterious person going by the name of "Shogun" delivered a graphic image that appeared to foretell the next NewGen murder. On his way home from school the following day, Takumi, as foreseen, comes across a horrifying crime scene. Rimi Sakihata, a girl covered in blood, is standing in front of the dead.
