The original Dead Space was released in 2008 and was widely praised for its innovative gameplay and frightening atmosphere. This survival horror follows the story of Isaac Clarke, a systems engineer sent to investigate the USG Ishimura, a mining ship that has gone dark. Upon his arrival, he finds that the ship has been overrun by a virus that turns people into monsters called Necromorphs. As a result, a routine mission turns into a desperate fight for survival and keeping sanity. The Dead Space remake lets us experience this story again and is even more immersive than the original.

The original game was recreated from scratch to use all the graphic magic provided by modern technology. Consequently, outer space has never looked as scary and real as in the new Dead Space. Electronic Arts planned to release the game by the end of 2022, but the premiere has been delayed. Finally, the Dead Space remake's release date was set for January 27, 2023.
