The remake
Studio Wildcard returns with Ark: Survival Ascended, a remake of its hit action-adventure game Ark: Survival Evolved. The overhauled version uses Unreal Engine 5 and takes advantage of its cutting-edge capabilities. As a result, Ark: Survival Ascended looks astonishing and provides players with such visual effects as realistic reflections and new lifelike physics that will let you plunge into the Ark's world deeper than ever before. Moreover, the remake offers additional creatures and items as well as numerous new features, including photo mode, a changed camera system, and a tracking system. Besides the content from the base game, Ark: Survival Ascended features the worlds previously released as DLC, including Extinction, Aberration, and Scorched Earth.
Dinosaurs and survival
In Ark: Survival Ascended, you will have to fight for survival in a world dominated by prehistoric beasts. You will assemble your tribe, build a base, and use a wide range of guns that let you fight both dinosaurs and hostile humans. Moreover, you can even tame beasts because there's nothing more exciting than riding a dinosaur with a machine gun in your hand. You can travel to this world alone in single-player mode or face other players in multiplayer, including local split-screen mode.
Release date
Ark: Survival Ascended is available for PC, Xbox Series S|X, and PlayStation 5. The Windows version came out in early access on October 26, 2023. Studio Wildcard set the premiere of console ports for November.
