Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is the twelfth game in the Call of Duty series of first-person shooters, and an official sequel to Call of Duty: Black Ops II. Black Ops III takes place in the distant future in the year 2065, 40 years after the event of the previous game, and shows a world in turmoil caused by powerful technology and drastic climate change.
Join a squad of elite black ops soldiers, powered by cybernetic enhancements that give them access to special activities that players can use to their advantage.
Engage in brutal Cyber Warfare
In CoD: Black Ops 3, players have access to a range of futuristic implants that enhance their combat abilities, called Cyber Cores. The Cyber Cores are offensive abilities split into three skill trees, with 21 abilities in total to unlock.
Control abilities will help players defeat robotic enemies, utilizing electrical powers and hacking to gain advantage on the battlefield, but have limited effect on human enemies. The Chaos skill tree is filled with abilities that will disrupt and confuse your enemies, giving you an opening. Finally, Martial skills give players access to a range of melee-focused abilities and diversion tactics to swiftly reap through enemy ranks and silently escape.
Play through the campaign in co-op
A new feature in the Call of Duty series, the campaign of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 can be played in its entirety with friends or solo. Up to 4 players can join together to play either the campaign, multiplayer, or Zombie mode, with support for both local split-screen and online multiplayer.
