The plot centers around Ingrid, a temperamental and spoilt young lady. She steps on a loaf of bread to keep her shoes clean and falls all the way to hell. Creepy monsters abound in the underworld. Some want to devour young Ingrid whole, while others want to torture her with never-ending nightmares and yet others want to convert her into a lovely statue to wow their neighbors. As it appears that Ingrid is condemned to perish in this infernal hole, she encounters Molek, a chatty, sarcastic demon who has been following her voyage with interest. She has no option but to put her faith in the small monster. Who can say? He might be the key to her atonement and return home.
