Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse is a survival horror game that takes place on the mysterious Rogetsu Island. Players control a character armed with a camera obscura, a supernatural device that can capture ghostly spirits. As they explore the island's dark and creepy environments, they must uncover the truth behind the island's haunted history and the tragic events that took place there. The game features intense, atmospheric gameplay and a gripping story that will keep players on the edge of their seat.

In Lunar Eclipse: Fatal Frame, the girls must explore the dark and creepy Rogetsu Island, where sinister events have occurred in the past. Using their Camera Obscura, they must capture images of spirits to uncover the truth and reveal their forgotten memories.  The camera serves as both a weapon and a tool for investigation, as players must take photographs of spirits in order to learn more about the history of the island and the events that took place there. Throughout the game, players will be able to upgrade their camera and acquire new film types to make it easier to capture powerful spirits.
