About the base game:
Generation Zero is an atmospheric first-person guerilla tactical combat game set in stertörn, a region in an alternate 1980s Sweden. The idyllic rural setting's populace vanished overnight, replaced by aggressive machines intent on killing everybody they come across. You start out into the enormous open world, coming across villages, bunkers, military stations, and other structures as you try to figure out where these machines came from. During your adventures, you discover a plethora of gear to aid you in your battles with this new foe, such as equipment to distract them and weapons to assist you take them down. You also have several skill trees and costumes that allow you to tailor your talents to better deal with difficult circumstances.
