There is no exception, not even at Astella, a harbor town located far from the Vallois Empire's capital. Local gangs, slum residents, outside forces, and secret societies are all engaged in conflict over their respective goals and interests. The fragile peace at Astella is in danger of collapsing back into open hostilities because of this tension.

During this circumstance, a young boy and a girl ran into one another. Sid, who was about to die due to a string of tragic occurrences, was miraculously spared by a girl named Torii who possesses a unique power called Chrono. Sid and Torii set off on a journey into the broader uncharted territory to look into a strange crime. Every choice taken in this intricate web of events has the potential to influence Astellas future.
