About the base game:
A critical era in humankind's existence is represented in the sci-fi grand strategy game The Pegasus Expedition. In a final effort to locate a safe haven for Earth's populace in the face of an enormous threat at home, mankind launches an expedition to the Pegasus Galaxy, only to find themselves caught up in an interplanetary conflict they unwittingly triggered. Your objective as the captain of one of these ships quickly changes from exploration to rule, conquest, and ultimately a struggle for life. Players will go through a difficult plot where nothing is obvious and every choice has impacts. Building on the lineage of the grand strategy genre, The Pegasus Expedition enhances the traditional 4X-gameplay, which entails controlling your army, diplomatic relations, economics, and scientific advancement.
