Legends return
Age of Mythology Retold is an updated version of the classic real-time strategy. Unlike other games in the series, it takes players to the land of legends, gods, and mythical creatures. The game features four diverse nations with unique buildings, units, and gods. You will command the Greek, Egytian, Norse, and Athlatean. The epic story mode, consisting of about 50 missions, will let you lead all four factions.
Pick your gods
In Age of Mythology Retold, you will develop your base, manage resources, and command armies of mythical creatures against your foes. Moreover, advancing to the next age lets you choose unique favors from gods. Thus, even repeating the same mission may provide you with a different experience.
Game for everyone
Age of Mythology Retold is a great game for newcomers and players who have already finished the original AoM. The long-time fans will enjoy better-balanced units and enhanced graphics. Microsoft also promised new content, including Arena of the Gods. This new game mode lets you tackle challenges alone or in cooperation. Release date and platforms
At Summer Game Fest in June 2024, Microsoft announced that Age of Mythology Retold would come out on September 4, 2024. The game is available on Xbox Series X|S and PC.
