About the game
Sea of Thieves game is an action-adventure production developed by Rare and published by Xbox Game Studios for Microsoft Windows and Xbox One. Players take on the roles of pirates, sailing around in ships while they explore islands, battle skeletons, and other players, and collect loot. SoT introduces a shared world where groups of players can explore together or compete against each other. SoT also features multiple pirate customization options allowing players to choose their own clothing, tattoos, body paint, items, and weapons as they embark on their adventures at sea. SoT has been praised for its stunning visuals and unique gameplay style. Despite some criticism regarding the lack of content available at launch, SoT has become one of the most popular games in recent years with millions of active players worldwide.
How to play Sea of Thieves?
Pirates don’t take orders from anyone, so you can do whatever you want. The game gives you the absolute freedom to explore the land, complete quests, and interact with other players. You may fight them or form a crew to seek treasures and glory together.

Is Sea of Thieves cross-platform?
No, SoT is not currently available as a cross-platform game. SoT is only available for Windows and Xbox One players. However, Rare has stated that they are looking into the possibility of releasing SoT on other platforms in the future. We will update this page when more information is made available.
