Ampersat is a shooter, slasher, and RPG hybrid that combines old-school/retro and current aesthetics. This is a handmade adventure that will appeal to fans of Roguelites, with inspirations ranging from Gauntlet and Smash TV to Zelda and a dash of Angband. Ampersat, a labor of love from a single developer, distills some favorite childhood gaming experiences into a fresh, fun hybrid in which you kill a lot of monsters, find a lot of loot, free captured letters (um, what?) and evolve from a world-weary warrior mage into a powerful smashing/blasting machine!
