In God of Rock, players will select their favorite artist and engage in epic 1v1 battles on a worldwide stage. Each artist has been resurrected by the mystical God of Rock, who seeks to be entertained by their musical prowess. With new bodies and new abilities, these artists will compete for musical dominance in an exhilarating rhythm-based gameplay experience that incorporates fighting game components.
Players will choose from a dozen distinct combatants, each with their own unique design, mechanics, and synchronized strikes. As they face off against their opponents, they'll need to hit notes on the beat of the music to accumulate meter and perform standard moves. The more notes they hit, the more meter they'll accumulate, allowing them to unleash EX and special moves that do damage and add intricacy to their songs.
