Grind Stormer is a vertically scrolling space shoot ‘em up originally developed by Toaplan. This early manic shooter features intense bullet barrages that challenge even veteran players. Newcomers can benefit from easy mode, rewind, and quick save options to learn and progress.
The Japanese version, called V・V (V Five), includes a selectable power-up system adding strategic depth by letting players choose the best weapon for each stage. The international version simplifies this with instant power-ups upon item acquisition.

Story
Set in the year 2210, you play a secret agent piloting the NA-00 space fighter inside a virtual reality simulator. No player has cleared it and returned—until now. But is this really just a game? Press start and hear the signal: “Showtime!”
