PEAK is a co-op climbing game where small mistakes can end a run. You play as lost nature scouts trying to escape a mysterious island by climbing the mountain at its center, either solo or with friends.

What to expect from gameplay

The core loop is climbing through dangerous terrain while managing survival needs and using tools to improve your chances. The island layout changes on a daily rotation, keeping routes and risks unpredictable.

• Climb through 4 biomes with life-threatening obstacles.
• Manage injuries that reduce stamina and make climbing harder.
• Scavenge items such as energy drinks, ropes, climbing spikes, and the Anti-Rope.
• Map rotates every 24 hours, with new layouts and repeat attempts possible.

Co-op features and progression

Co-op play is designed around teamwork and shared problem-solving. You can help others up ledges, place tools for safer routes, and earn cosmetics through progression.

• Friends-only multiplayer: invite up to three other scouts through Steam.
• Up to 4 players total in co-op (as described).
• Proximity chat for communication.
• Badges to earn and cosmetics/character customization to unlock.
• Additional features include campfires and marshmallows, questionable foods, and ghosts.
