Life of an ex-Yakuza
Yakuza Kiwami, like the original game, is a role-playing action-adventure title set in an open world. You’ll take control of Kazuma Kiryu, an ex-gang member, who took the blame for his boss’s murder. During the gameplay, you’ll explore the area of Kamurocho, a fictional district of Tokyo.
Find Yumi
Yakuza Kiwami’s action takes place in 1995, 8 years after the events from Yakuza 0. In order to save his friends, Yakuza takes the blame for the murder of Dojima, the boss of the Tojo clan. After ten years in jail, Yakuza goes free into the world which he barely recognizes. What’s worse, his friend Yumi is nowhere to be found.
A refreshed version
Yakuza Kiwami’s, a remastered version of Yakuza from 2005, includes many new features. Thanks to them, even the players of the younger installments may be satisfied with the graphical upgrade. Enjoy all-new visuals, a restored Japanese dub, and many gameplay enhancements. The game is now more vibrant and beautifully recreates Tokyo’s nightlife area.
New gameplay mechanics
Visuals are not the only enhanced elements of Yakuza Kiwami. Now you can experience more true-to-life combat with different fighting styles – Brawler, Rush, and Beast, upgrades, and new moves.
