Subnautica 2 is an underwater survival adventure set on a new alien world in the Subnautica universe, developed by Unknown Worlds. Stranded after the colony ship CICADA runs into trouble, you must survive, explore, and uncover why the ship’s AI insists the mission must continue.

Exploration, survival, and base building
Progress is built around adapting to dangerous depths, scanning lifeforms, and expanding your tools and habitats. You explore varied biomes, study biodiversity, and upgrade equipment to reach new areas.

- Design and customize bases as safe return points beyond shallow waters.
- Scan and study creatures and environments, from small lifeforms to Leviathans.
