About the base game:
The tactical and intense battle royale game, Battlegrounds, showcased footage of two upcoming maps: Sanhok, a smaller-scale map inspired by islands in the Southeast Pacific Ocean, and a snow-covered map in development. Additionally, a new gaming experience called War Mode was introduced, featuring a deathmatch-style battle royale. The world premiere of the Ballistic Shield, a tool for rapidly establishing cover in explosive and close-distance situations, was also revealed during the event.
