The film club at Wen Hua University, which is well-known for its spooky ghost stories throughout Taiwan, devises a scheme to enlist new members within its gloomy hallways. Within the notoriously haunted 'Da Ren' building, a fearless group of students organizes the 'Carnival of Horror'. They go into the dark to shoot with the intention of reviving a decades-old campus mystery for their intended viral horror flick. However, as their cameras pan through the shadows, the distinction between fact and fantasy becomes less clear, and strange things start to happen.
