MLB: The Show 23 is the 18th installment in the beloved series that every baseball fan knows well. This time the developers at San Diego Studio enhanced the beloved formula with new game modes, more realistic visuals, over 5000 new animations, and many other improvements.

Game modes

All the fan-favorite game modes return in MLB: The Show 23. Road to The Show is a career simulation that lets your player climb up the ladder all the way to stardom. On the other hand, Franchise Mode focuses on managing your favorite club, and Diamond Dynasty allows you to build your own team and fill the roster with your favorite players from different eras. Furthermore, the new narrative mode makes its debut in MLB: The Show 23. Storylines: A New Game Experience was created in cooperation with the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum and put emphasis on the Negro Leagues and its iconic stars, such as Jackie Robinson and Buck O'Neil. 

Moreover, thanks to cross-platform play and cross-progression features, MLB: The Show 23 lets you can face your friends regardless of the platforms they have and continue your baseball journey on a different console.

Being a video game cover athlete is always ennobling. That's why every year, gamers are curious about who's going to be featured on the front of their favorite sports series. MLB: The Show 23 has two cover stars. The standard edition of the game features Miami Marlins player Jazz Chisholm Jr., while New York Yankees legend Derek Jeter is on the cover of the Deluxe and Captain editions.
