It’s 1944, and the world is at war. In the countryside of Tuscany, a body of a young woman has been pulled out of the water. It is Marta, a daughter of a German soldier. Her twin sister, Giulia, begins a search for truth and consolation. However, she hides secrets of her own. Find out the truth about Martha’s murder. Set during historically accurate events, Martha Is Dead blurs the line between real terrors of war, psychological trauma caused by a loss of a close one, and mysterious folklore.
