Northgard: Cross of Vidar is a Northgard's expansion pack bringing a new campaign to the game that takes place in an entirely new civilization: The Southern Kingdoms. This expansion also introduces a new faction unlike any seen before in Northgard, The Kingdom of Neustria.
After uniting all of the clans behind him, Rig will have to prepare them against Ragnarök but the clan’s faith in the King seems to diminish as time passes. It might be time for them to find a new home, but this won’t be an easy task…

Bravery and glove
Vikings are not only courageous, fearless, and skilled warriors but also determined explorers. In Northgard, you’ll take on the challenge to lead your own Viking clan through the unknown obstacles of a newly discovered land. This complex strategy game will let you sail, conquer new shores, and gather their wealth.

As you take on one action after another, you have to remember about the greatest powers. Write your own history, but don’t forget about your devotion to the gods, whose blessings will help you and whose anger will make you suffer. Get ready to face the dire Wolves and Undead Warriors, set your relations with giants, and survive the harshest winters.
Choose your clan
Northgard features 11 campaign chapters, during which you’ll get the chance to master the specificities of six unique clans. You’ll unlock six more clans as you move to the colonization mode. Each clan introduces new combat and survival skills, which makes the game constantly engaging.
Rig’s Saga
If you’re more of an adventurer, you can choose to play the story mode with the tale of a murdered king, stolen precious, and father and son journey across the new continent, they decide to call Northgard. Prepare for amazing discoveries, surprising plot twists, and many references to Norse mythology.
