Command Your Mercenary Outfit in a Galactic War
BATTLETECH presents the next generation of turn-based tactical ‘Mech combat, created by original BATTLETECH/MechWarrior creator Jordan Weisman and the developers of the award-winning Shadowrun Returns series. The year is 3025, and the galaxy is trapped in perpetual war, fought using enormous, mechanized combat vehicles called BattleMechs. You will take command of your own mercenary outfit of 'Mechs and the MechWarriors who pilot them. As you struggle to stay afloat, you'll be drawn into a brutal interstellar civil war, forcing you to negotiate contracts with feudal lords and upgrade your starfaring base of operations.
Tactical Combat and Deep Customization
The core experience is the deeply strategic Turn-Based Combat where you must COMMAND A SQUAD OF 'MECHS, deploying over 30 different BattleMechs and utilizing terrain, positioning, and weapon selection to outmaneuver your opponents. Success requires careful MERCENARY MANAGEMENT: you must recruit and develop unique MechWarriors, customize your dropship, and oversee your technical personnel. In the MechLab, you can CUSTOMIZE YOUR 'MECHS by replacing damaged systems with valuable battlefield salvage. For competitive players, the game includes PVP MULTIPLAYER & SKIRMISH MODE, allowing you to challenge friends online or test your strategies against the AI.
