Show the gift card (either digital on your phone or printed).
The cashier will scan the code or manually enter the card number and PIN.
The balance will be automatically applied to your purchase.
If your purchase exceeds the card balance, you can pay the difference with another payment method.

Confirm and complete the payment

Activate Product:
- In the bottom left corner of the Steam app, find a plus sign saying “ADD A GAME” next to it, click it and choose the “Activate a Product on Steam…” option.

Product Activation:
- A pop-up window saying “Product Activation” will show up. Navigate through it by clicking “NEXT >” and agreeing to the “STEAM® SUBSCRIBER AGREEMENT".

Confirm:
- Insert the product code and confirm its activation.
