Master Asymmetric Co-op Gameplay
DwarfHeim innovates with its co-op RTS mechanics, emphasizing teamwork and strategic synergy across three unique classes:
- Builder: Support your team by healing units, constructing defenses, houses, farms, and brewing soothing ales to keep morale high.
- Miner: Focus on gathering resources, refining rare minerals, building machinery, and setting traps to thwart enemies.
- Warrior: Train a formidable army, slay creatures for gold, and equip legendary weapons to crush rival clans.
Choose from six unique Thanes, each with distinct skills and abilities, and coordinate with teammates in Conquest mode, a 3v3 multiplayer race to destroy the enemy’s Town Hall. The asymmetric gameplay requires players to share resources and strategize together, making communication key to victory. Whether you’re battling trolls or rival Dwarven clans, DwarfHeim delivers a team-based strategy experience that’s both challenging and rewarding.
Explore the Dual Realms of Agartha
The world of Agartha is a medieval fantasy battlefield split between the Overworld and Underworld, offering rich exploration and strategic depth:
- Expand your settlement above ground with the Builder, creating a thriving Dwarven city while defending against troll attacks.
- Dig deep into the Underworld as the Miner, harvesting rare minerals to craft powerful units and machinery.
- Protect both fronts as the Warrior, battling enemies on the surface and below with legendary weapons.
- Navigate diverse maps with unique challenges, from resource scarcity to treacherous terrain, enhancing replayability.
The dual-layered world and resource management mechanics create a dynamic RTS experience, though some players note the steep learning curve for coordinating classes.
Conquer Diverse Game Modes
DwarfHeim offers a variety of single-player and multiplayer modes to suit every strategy gamer:
- Conquest: Join two allies in a 3v3 co-op multiplayer mode to tear through enemy defenses and destroy their Town Hall.
- Survival: Face relentless troll waves in a grueling challenge, available solo or with up to two co-op partners, testing your strategic prowess.
- Sandbox: Build your Dwarven stronghold at your own pace in a relaxed creative mode, perfect for city-building enthusiasts, solo or in co-op.
- Skirmish: Test your strategies against an AI-controlled clan in a series of challenging maps, ideal for honing skills before multiplayer battles.
With ranked matchmaking and a Friend-Pass for inviting friends, DwarfHeim blends competitive and cooperative gameplay, appealing to fans of multiplayer RTS like StarCraft or Age of Empires.
