You will board The Stormstrider with your other shipmate and set out on your oceanic journey together. Over several runs, man the cannons, prepare your sails, and defend your ship from sea monsters. You must protect your house from the powerful Aquapocalypse.
In a nutshell, Ship of Fools is a game in which you must defend your ship by firing powerful guns at your seaborne enemies. You'll want to bring your first mate on deck and enjoy oarsome battle as you collect new gadgets and artifacts to aid in your efforts to save the world from calamity in this co-op game inspired by current classic roguelites.
Fast paced combat engagements with the terrifying storm creatures are designed for co-op play and will put your teamwork to the test. If you don't want to wind up as fish food, work together to defend and repair the ship, combine item effects in potent combos, and watch out for fellow shipmates.
Explore the islands in the archipelago to find hidden shops and abandoned treasures, but be sure to carefully consider your actions! The Everlasting Storm moves and transforms as you navigate the area, obstructing your paths with its wrath. You'll have to decide when you can brave a trip to find out what lurks inside the storm and modify your trajectory accordingly to the storm's movements.
Ship of Fools allows for both solo and multiplayer play. Man your ship as a lone sailor and battle your way across perilous waters while keeping the glory for yourself. It is often preferable to have no crew than a dysfunctional one, as they say in classic sailor ballads.
Each run will provide something new to your journey, including new Fools to interact with, unique objects to discover and unlock, battle encounters to engage in, and several islands to explore. Boost your power each time so you'll be prepared to fend against the creatures of the deep.
