Vegan Vampire in action
Voltaire: The Vegan Vampire is a game that combines action, farming, and roguelike elements, and takes place in Transylvania, the birthplace of Dracula and his rebellious youngest son, Voltaire. Voltaire experiences an epiphany and decides to abandon his blood-based diet in favor of a plant-based one, as a way of proving to his father that there are alternative ways for vampires to survive. However, his father doesn't approve of this decision and with the help of his uncles, Frank and Stein, Voltaire escapes from his father's watchful eye. He embarks on a spooky and charming adventure filled with vegetarian recipes, a plant-based lifestyle, and beautiful hand-drawn art that celebrates the wonderfully creepy!
Build your vegan farm
During daylight hours, you'll need to farm using enchanted seeds to grow crops and provide Voltaire with the nourishment he needs to achieve his goal of becoming the world's first vegan vampire. Expand your farm and territory, exploring various biomes as you accompany Voltaire on his journey towards a chlorophyll-based power.
Defend the crops
Once night falls, you must be vigilant. Dracula is determined to prevent Voltaire from sticking to his plant-based diet and will send his minions to destroy his crops and force him to return to a traditional, blood-based diet. Therefore, you must protect your crops and fend off Dracula's minions to ensure Voltaire stays on the path to becoming a vegan vampire. You'll need to use your skills and strategy to fend off these creatures and ensure that Voltaire stays on his plant-based diet.
Vegan special powers
Transform Voltaire into more advanced vampire forms through his diet plan that includes various abilities. Accomplish tasks for Uncle(s) Frank and Stein, defeat legendary creatures in Transylvania, and receive rewards to continue progressing. Overcome any challenges that Voltaire may encounter metaphorically, or face the temptation to indulge in his desire to bite necks. Don't worry, as there will always be an opportunity to attempt the diet again, armed with additional knowledge and skills.
