Game overview
Killer Bean is a first- and third-person action roguelike based on the Killer Bean animated franchise. The player controls Killer Bean, a rogue assassin, working to dismantle the Shadow Agency across a campaign of procedurally generated environments.
Gameplay
Combat involves gunplay with physics-based ragdoll reactions, randomised weapon skills, and enemies that include infantry, vehicles, aircraft, and mechs. Four factions operate in the world: Bad Beans, Mercenaries, Pirate Commandos, and Shadow Troops.
The game includes four main modes alongside the campaign:
- Campaign — a single-player story mode across procedurally generated islands
- The Party — missions targeting disruptive dance parties
- Battle Arena — survival mode against endless enemy waves
- Conquest — cooperative mode siding with the Bad Beans against Mercenaries
Islands are generated across four biomes, each with their own wildlife. There are four bosses and four mini-bosses.
