Windows Activation Instructions:
The following instructions explain how to install and activate Windows. If you want to learn how to upgrade Windows from HOME to PRO, you can find instructions on THIS PAGE.
1. First, you need to download the Windows media creation tool from this link.
2. Create Installation Media:
- After downloading, run the media creation tool.
3. Select Installation Media:
- Click on “Create installation media for another PC.
4. Choose Language and Version:
- Choose your language.
- Pick the version of Windows suitable for you (Home or Pro).
5. Select Architecture:
- Choose between the option of 32 or 64-bit.
6. Create Bootable USB Drive:
- Tell the installer whether you want to create a bootable USB drive or install it directly. It's recommended to create a separate USB drive.
Clean Install Steps:
Once you've made the installation media, follow these steps to do a clean install.
1. First, boot your PC from the USB device that you just created.
2. Setup Language and Settings:
- After the setup has fully loaded, pick your desired language, time zone, and keyboard settings.
3. Enter Product Key:
- When prompted, enter your 25-digit product key.
4. Custom Installation:
- Choose "Custom: Install Windows only (advanced)".
5. Select Installation Drive:
- Select the drive you want to install Windows on. Format it and click on “Next”. Be careful because this step involves deleting everything on your PC to make room for Windows.
