Company of Heroes 3 is the next installment of the well-known real-strategy game series developed by Relic Entertainment and published by Sega. This time, you’ll take the role of Allied Forces on the front of Italy and North Africa during World War II. The game is a sequel to the Company of Heroes 2, and it contains many new features.
Tactical Pause system
One of the previously mentioned new features of Company of Heroes 3 is a Tactical Pause system available in a single-player mode. This upgrade will let you pause the battle and take a moment to think of and plan the next moves. During the pause, you’ll be able to queue up the commands to be followed after the game is resumed.
The power of destruction
In Company of Heroes 3, you’ll also experience an improved destruction system. Watch the buildings collapse as the effect of warfare. See the individual tiles and bricks crumble off houses and monuments as two forces collide. When the battle smoke clears, you won’t recognize the place.
Define the course of war
Unlike the previous entries’ linear campaigns, Company of Heroes 3 presents a dynamic campaign map. The storyline begins in Naples, but from there - the choices are yours. Liberate the cities, or use them as a battlefield. Manage the resources, such as airfields, seaports, hospitals, and supply lines. Quickly storm North to the German frontline, or take your time to weaken their supply lines first.
