Windows 11 Professional Retail

Check your Windows edition first:
- Go to Settings → System → About and look at Edition under Windows specifications.
- Windows 11 Pro: continue to step 2.
- Windows 11 Home: you need to upgrade to Pro before your key will work. Follow the instructions on THIS PAGE, then come back here.

Activate Windows 11 Pro:
- Make sure your PC is connected to the internet.
- Go to Settings → System → Activation.
- Next to Change product key, click Change.
- Enter your 25-character product key and click Next.
- Click Activate.
- To confirm it worked, check Settings → System → Activation. It should show Active.
- Tip: sign in to Windows with a Microsoft account. Your license is then linked to your account, which makes it easier to reactivate if you replace hardware later.

- If you see error 0xC004F050 or 0xC004F069, your PC is probably still running Windows 11 Home. Go back to step 1.
