Activation guides

On a PC (using iTunes):

1. Open iTunes.
2. From the Menu bar, choose Account > Redeem.
3. Sign in with your Apple ID.
4. Use your computer's webcam to scan the card or manually enter the code.

On the web:

1. Visit the App Store website.
2. Scroll to the bottom and click "Redeem."
3. Sign in with your Apple ID.
4. Enter the 16-digit code, which starts with an X, from the back of the card.
